Fairhaven began when God laid a burden on Pastor Sander’s heart for the people of Coolidge, Arizona and the people of the surrounding areas. Subsequently God called Pastor Sanders to plant Fairhaven Baptist Church. Fairhaven held its first service on January 7, 2007 in the cafeteria at West School in Coolidge with numerous first time guests. With a wonderful core group, Fairhaven chartered in August of 2007. Soon after the charter service the need for more space became obvious. The young growing church moved its meeting location in February of 2009 to Imagine Schools of Coolidge. Throughout this time Pastor Sanders and the entire congregation began to pray for a place of their own a place to call home. While at Imagine School God began to bless this church in amazing ways. It was obvious that God was at work amongst this young congregation. People were being saved, baptized and added to the church and God did the impossible He gave this thriving church a place of their own. Fairhaven held its first service in their new building on November 7th, 2010. Under the leadership of Pastor Sanders Fairhaven continues to grow and move forward.
