Pastor Byron Sanders grew up in the Phoenix area and has long had a love for both the beauty of the Arizona desert as well as the people who have made it their home. After graduating high school, he moved to Oklahoma City, OK, where he attended the Heartland Baptist Bible College and graduated four years later with a BA in Biblical Studies. During his time in college he married Mrs. Rachel, who is from the Pacific Northwest. Shortly after his graduation, he went on staff at the First Bible Baptist Church of Great Bend, KS under the leadership of Pastor Darrell Grimm. After two years, he made preparations to establish Fairhaven Baptist Church in Coolidge, AZ, which was started on January 7, 2007. God has blessed Pastor Sanders and Mrs. Rachel with three lovely children, Abigail, Hannah and Hudson.
